West Horsley Village Hall is situated in the centre of the village . Not only does it occupy it occupy a central position geographically, but the Hall is also at the centre of village life, hosting every kind of function, from the monthly meetings of the Parish Council, to young children’s’ birthday parties. Regular hirers are the W.H.I.P.S(drama group), the W.I., the pre-school Nursery Group, various fitness classes, choirs, handicraft sessions, the Horticultural Shows and Winter talks, adult and children’s’ dancing classes, and various kinds of private parties.

There are two Halls in the complex, joined by an internal foyer. The larger main hall was built in the 1920’s and the smaller Cedar Room in the 1960’s; both have modern kitchen and cloakroom facilities, and disabled access. Adjacent to the Cedar Room is a Children’s’ Play- Ground which is very well used and safely fenced, and has seating for parents.

The Halls are operated under the Deeds of a Trust and employ a Secretary/Treasurer and a Caretaker/Cleaner. The other members of the Management Committee are all volunteers and drawn largely from the regular hirers of the Halls.
