A Caring Community

The Wheel of Care is here to help any person residing in West Horsley and neighbouring areas who is need of assistance. Although not able to implement an emergency service, The Wheel's local volunteers will collect prescriptions, do small DIY jobs, give lifts to shops, surgery or hospital, read or fill in forms and provide support for carers. The Wheel also makes frequent visits to residents of Dene Place.

Help when you need it

Whether you are new to the area or have lived here al your life, in need of regular assistance or occasional friendship, the West Horsley Wheel of Care aims to provide the care, people of West Horsley need. This is an affluent village without many of the problems of urban and deprived areas, nevertheless we all require a little help or companionship sometimes. Whether this is due to a temporary indisposition, a disability or advancing age is immaterial. The Wheel of Care offers help, support, transport, and activities providing exercise, companionship and friendship.
